New kitties

Our new kitties have adjusted to their new living arrangements just fine. We've adjust just fine and the old kitties have adjusted fine. Still a little hissing from the old cats every now and then, but that is expected. My only problem is that the new kitties like to play soccer in the hall on the wooden floor at 6 AM. I don't like getting up at 6AM! Poor Popeye tries to feel around in the dark to take the balls away but they find something else each time! LOL

what cuties!
We just introduced an adult dog to our home. Our cat is not very impressed. She's doing a lot of hissing & today charged at the dog & batted with her claws. No damage as the dog is a husky/shep with thick coat & is totally mellow & just ignored her. I hope this ends soon though....

We used to have the nighttime soccer problem way back in our first apartment. We tried so hard to pick up each and every little thing the cat could play with. One night, though, I woke up to the sound of him batting something around, we had a whispered conference ("I thought we got all of his toys up", "what could it be?") ... he had found a waterbug crawling across the floor and was batting it around, thrilled to pieces because it moved on its own. Eeew!
