Just a silly post....

I guess I AM inspired tonight!

I made my first SUCCESSFUL lasagne tonight. :) I tried one MANY, MANY moons ago, only to have the noodles come out crunchy. :(

But, tonight, it was PERFECT!

And I was just so proud of myself.

Lasagna is great! As you've now perfected it :-), next time make 2 and freeze one (without baking it). It's so time consuming to put the sucker together & making 2 doesn't really take any longer. You can pop it in the oven straight from the freezer (if it's in a glass pyrex type pan); takes well over an hour to bake but doesn't require you at all. My favourite type of dinner. Just toss a salad, pour the wine, sit & smile at everyon.

I noticed you are reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Is that current? We just finished reading through the whole series except for finishing the last b/c it seemed too heavy for our guy. He loved it and wants to read the whole series again. (It was a great imagination catalyst for him!) Daddy said we would wait until Christmas time. Perhaps that's good timing, since I just noticed that TL,TW,and TW is coming out in the theatre at that time...
On the other hand, we will have to think/pray about whether or not to see the movie. Personally, I don't like seeing the movie of a book I loved b/c I've had my own images of the characters and places in my mind's eye, and once I've seen the screen version, they tend to replace or at least conflict with my own...
