What do YOU want out of education for your children?

First Things

Before what Latin curriculum to choose...

Before whether or not to put Latin at the center...

Before whether or not to read the pagans...

Ask: What is the purpose of education?

And also: What is my vision of an educated adult?

Then, and only then, can you ask how to realize that vision.

Some important things to think about, huh?

[Update: I've calmed down now. I don't think I could add anything to this that could make it better than it is now.]
