STOP THE PRESSES!!!!!!!

Yep, I'm doing the UNTHINKABLE!

We are leaving Classical Writing and going with Tapestry of Grace's Writing Aids program. THAT means I have to find a good grammar program. So far Junior Analytical Grammar is leading that race over Easy Grammar that TOG recommends. I like the diagramming and review in JAG quite a bit.

If worse comes to worse, we can always go back to CW, but I'm not trying to create the next Thomas Jefferson. ;)

I had looked at JAG last year, and it looked pretty good. Then again, we're sticking with CW for now. But, then again, I think Lynx uses JAG with CW.

Oh, the possibilities these posts bring to mind!

BTW, why did you decide to switch?

Hi!

I received our WA last week and I too have been thinking of dropping CW...... but right now I cant seem to bring myself to do it... I go back and forth! I hate that....

I think we will try both and see what happens... taking it all slow and steady....

I just have to add it into our week first *Ü*

Glad you posted you blog....

We've been using Writing Aids and so far, so good! For grammar, I've had my 7th & 5th grader's using "Journey Through Grammar Land" because I thought they'd like the story. Well, they do...but my oldest doesn't like having to search out the answers to the questions (she doesn't like grammar that much!). JAG looks really good. I think maybe I'll to AG for our next grammar. Hope you like WA!

Thanks ya'll for commenting. I'm nervous with WA because it isn't holding my hand like I thought it would...maybe it will just take some time to get used to it.

DS is liking JAG so far.
