The Newest Family Picture

We had these pictures made for our church directory. I think they turned out nice. Sweet Pea 2 told us the day we were going to have pictures made "I'm NOT going to smile." And he didn't....no matter what the photographer did or said, or how we threatened him.

New CAR

This has absolutely nothing to do with homeschooling but I wanted to write about this. Our family bought a new car today! It is a Hyundai Sonata. I'm SO excited. Popeye picked it out and it isn't the exact trim I would like (no leather seats!), but listen to this. He is such a great hubby. He has been concerned about the kids and I riding around in the other car we have. I get to drive the new car while he drives his little car to work. The other car will be sold (maybe). After about 14 months of driving the new car, I get to choose ANOTHER new car for myself and he takes the current new car and we get rid of his little car! Isn't he just the best?

THANK you KathyJo! The first time I tried to contact the Blogger folks, I got no reply. This time KathyJo sent me a different way to contact them and we solved my problem!!!! Now, if I could only have my new knitting blog and this blog under the same user name. Hopefully the blogger folks will be helping me with that too.

Update on school: It is going well! I'm not quite getting to some things that we should/could, but the main basics are being covered (Latin, Math, Writing, piano, and phonics for Sweet Pea 2). We'll be adding in the other things a little at a time. I'm beat by the time I jump back and forth with these guys.
