In the right place at the right time
That is what happened to us today. We were driving back from Popeye's mom's house and we stopped to get some lunch. When we pulled into the parking lot, we saw this.
I've never seem the Budweiser Clydesdales before nor ANY Clydesdales, so after we ate we decided to stay and watch what was going on.
When all eight horses were "dressed" and ready, here came their little sidekick.
He was so happy to be up on top of that wagon...tail just a waggin'. They let us get up close to the horses, but we couldn't touch them. I've never SEEN horses as big as these before. They were just BEAUTIFUL!
Then off they went around and around the parking lot. We left then to try to beat the crowd. We don't know why they were there, but we were all excited to see them.
The boys even made a new friend.
We all had a nice Thanksgiving but are glad to be back home. Hope your time was blessed too.

wow cool. YOu mean you've never been to Sea World? They have the Budweiser Clydesdales there... great photos!
I've been to Sea World once, but didn't see the Clydesdales there.
Perhaps they were taking them "home" after a Thanksgiving parade somewhere? "Home" depending on which team it was.
Rick used to work for A-B, so we got a lot of Clydesdale news and visits. Their living quarters are nicer than what some people live in, I swear. You'll have to visit us here in St. Louis, and we can go see them.
